Hi All,

Well after lots of work and promoting this season's National Christian Cup and Trophy and preparing for the draw, we are very pleased to announce that we have, yet again another record entry. When we decided to develop the National Christian Cup into 2 Competitions and start the National Christian Trophy, we were aiming at around 80 or 90. Last season's entry  of 81 was excellent but this year entries has really exceeded all expectations! 

We are glad to announce that we have 102 Christian-based Teams in all, 21 up on last year's NCC & NCT! There are 56 Teams in the Cup and 46 teams in the Trophy. This is fantastic and we give many thanks to our big Boss!! Thanks Lord! Also a big thank-you for your patience in waiting for the draw as we made loads of calls and emails to get to this stage!!

The draw is enclosed below in full, for both the Cup and Trophy. It was made at the 2008 SCORE Football Chaplains Conference at Lilleshall this week, so thanks to the Chaplains from Barnsley, Darlington, Gillingham, Bournemouth, Northampton Saints(!) and QPR for their help and great banter!!

We are kicking the Competitions off on Saturday 25th October 2008 but you will notice that there are many teams that do not have games for that day.

However if you have a bye into the 2nd Round and are also playing a team who have also received a bye, then you are free to play on October 25th if you wish but both teams will have to agree to this situation. If that is the case then obviously there will be a spare date later in the Competition but you may prefer to get the games out of the way whilst the weather is better - well that is the theory!!? Contact us immediately if you want to play on October 25th.

All letters are being prepared next week so the full details will be available soon. However, if you cannot play on October 25th you must make make immediate contact with us by email and then we will forward that onto your opponents!
