"Christians in Football", is both a Network Association and Mission Agency which will always seek effective and creative ways to help empower church-based football groups and individual christian players, all over the country, to reach people for Christ and then bringing them to maturity in both their faith and their sport. 

NETWORK ASSOCIATION

To co-ordinate an effective approach of envisioning, encouraging, enabling and training local groups of churches to be involved in "Local Football Ministry". This is defined as Christian Footballers involved in the game they are passionate for(!) to build relationships with their sporting friends and contacts in order to gain the right to be able to share the gospel with them by lifestyle as well as words! The vision is to see,in as many areas of the country as possible, these "local groups of Churches" to be involved in football in these ways:

MISSION AGENCY

To be involved in organising International Mission Tours and National Missions, helping local groups of churches to evangelise home and abroad. CIF will seek to take Tours to the major key Football Championships (World Cup, European Nations Cup, ECSU Championships) as well as other places when invited by the local church. France will be an often visited country, probably every year! The joint vision of Mission, (reaching people of the area we visit) and Training/Discipleship, (helping our christian players in their walk with Christ and being effective Gospel communicators, through football), will be achieved.

1) Christian/Inter church based Clubs playing in the local secular leagues,
2) Church based outreach leagues,
3) Individual/ groups of christians playing in local secular teams,
4)The Youth arena:- Church Outreach Leagues, Football Schools, Camps etc.

CHARITY AND OFFICE BASE

To Facilitate the Mission and Association Functions we have formed a Charity as a Company Limited by guarantee (Charity registration No. 1090157) and an Office Base to coordinate CIF Activities
